# Furni for iOS [Furni](http://furni.xyz) for iOS is a furniture store demo app designed by [Romain Huet](https://twitter.com/romainhuet) and written in Swift 2. Furni was presented on stage by [Bear Douglas](https://twitter.com/beardigsit) and [Romain Huet](https://twitter.com/romainhuet) at the [Twitter Flight conference](https://twitterflight.com/) in San Francisco on October 21st, 2015, to show off the power of the Fabric platform. ## Fabric Furni is a canonical sample iOS app created with [Fabric](https://get.fabric.io/), the tools you need to build the best apps. The goal of Furni is to demonstrate how to build great apps using the Fabric platform, not only with the Fabric Kits provided by Twitter, but also with the tremendously valuable mobile SDKs from our including [Stripe](https://stripe.com/), [Optimizely](https://www.optimizely.com/) and [Amazon Cognito Sync](https://aws.amazon.com/cognito/). ## Getting Started To get started and run the app, you need to follow these simple steps: 1. Open the Furni workspace in Xcode. 2. Sign up for Fabric on [fabric.io](https://fabric.io). 3. Download and install the Fabric Mac app. 4. Sign in with your Fabric account, select the Furni Xcode workspace and choose an organization. 5. Use the Fabric app for each Kit to obtain your API keys and facilitate the onboarding process. 6. You're all set! Run Furni on your iPhone or the iOS Simulator. ## Compatibility This project is written in Swift 2.0 so Furni requires Xcode 7 to build and run.
