Refund rules for WOCSOL digital products, marketplace purchases, website development, hosting, domains, renewals, tools, and services.
Refund Policy
Effective Date: 07 June 2026
This Refund Policy explains refund rules for WOCSOL digital products, marketplace purchases, website development services, hosting services, domains, renewals, tools, and other digital services.
1. General Refund Principle
WOCSOL provides digital goods, custom services, hosting services, software products, development work, and technology services. Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service, delivery status, usage, download, activation, and work already performed.
2. Digital Products
Digital products including scripts, templates, CMS systems, ERP systems, source code, plugins, themes, licenses, downloadable files, and software products are generally non-refundable once downloaded, accessed, activated, delivered, or licensed.
3. Marketplace Purchases
Marketplace refund requests may be reviewed by WOCSOL. WOCSOL may consider evidence including product description, download status, activation logs, support messages, screenshots, installation details, author response, and buyer claims.
WOCSOL’s decision regarding marketplace refunds shall be final within the platform.
4. Refunds May Be Considered
Refunds may be considered where WOCSOL determines that a duplicate payment, non-delivery, clearly misleading listing, serious unresolved product failure, or technical impossibility exists.
5. Refunds May Be Denied
Refunds may be denied where the product has been downloaded, accessed, activated, used, copied, installed, transferred, or where the buyer changed their mind, misunderstood requirements, lacks technical skills, ignored documentation, uses incompatible hosting, or requests features not included in the product.
6. Website Development Services
Payments made for website development, software development, planning, design, consultation, project management, coding, deployment, setup, testing, or work already started are non-refundable due to the customised nature of such services.
7. Advance Payments
Advance payments, booking amounts, milestone payments, and project initiation amounts are used to reserve resources, begin work, plan architecture, allocate time, and start development. Such payments are generally non-refundable once work begins.
8. Hosting, VPS and Server Services
Hosting, VPS, cloud, server, email, SSL, backup, migration, and managed services are generally non-refundable once activated, provisioned, configured, renewed, migrated, or used.
9. Domain Names
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, restorations, and related registrar charges are non-refundable once submitted, processed, registered, renewed, or transferred because such services are controlled by domain registry and registrar rules.
10. Third-Party Charges
Charges paid to third-party providers including payment gateways, registrars, cloud providers, software vendors, licensing providers, SMS providers, email providers, APIs, and other external services are non-refundable unless the third party itself provides a refund.
11. Setup and Service Fees
Setup fees, installation charges, migration fees, configuration charges, consulting fees, emergency support fees, customisation fees, and administrative charges are non-refundable once work has started or service has been delivered.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension, license deactivation, hosting suspension, product access restriction, domain withholding, service termination, or recovery action.
13. Refund Method
Approved refunds may be issued through the original payment method, wallet credit, service credit, manual transfer, or another method selected by WOCSOL depending on payment gateway availability and transaction status.
14. Processing Time
Approved refunds may take time to process depending on payment gateway, bank, settlement cycle, manual verification, and internal review.
15. No Refund for Policy Violations
Refunds shall not be provided where the account, order, product, license, hosting service, or purchase is connected with fraud, abuse, piracy, license bypass, chargeback abuse, malware, spam, illegal content, or violation of WOCSOL policies.
16. Final Decision
WOCSOL reserves the right to approve, deny, partially approve, or offer service credit for refund requests. WOCSOL’s refund decision shall be final within the platform.
